God, or the 7 basic values

God!  Eighty percent of Americans say they believe in Him.  Rather, 80 percent of Americans say they believe in Jesus Christ.  Yet Jesus and God are one and the same.  And I truly don't think that saying you believe truly means that you really believe. 

I encourage everyone to have a relationship with the Lord because it can help you simplify and find purpose in your life.  However, for those of you who truly don't Believe, when I write about God you can simply use Him (God) as a metaphor for the following virtues:

1. love

2. hope

3. justice

4. forgiveness

5. family

6. service

7. compassion

8. truth

9. faith

Place these virtues above all else and you will find in yourself a simpler, humbler, more purposeful self.
