As usual after the treatment I asked, "So, do you feel better?"
He said, "Well, since I didn't feel bad before the treatment, obviously I feel fine now. I don't know how to answer that question"
Hmmm, so that's half the problem too.
Believe it or not, my boss made up a creed once for giving breathing treatments, and, "Are you short of breath," was not part of it. Basically, he forbade us from even asking. How corny is that?
So I ask it before and after every treatment. If a patient is not short of breath, there really is no need for a breathing treatment. But, when it comes to money and procedure counts, need does not matter.

Unless that treatment came at the cost of overtime:)
