Symbicort informed me they don't suggest using a spacer with their inhaler

I'm gad you brought this up. I researched this a while back. Even talked to some experts in this area. And the reason they say that is because they never tested the inhaler with a spacer. So it was put in for legal reasons. However, it is very beneficial to use a spacer with any metered dose inhaler, which Symbicort is. We use Symbicort where I work and we hand out a spacer with every one.
